These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of Mouse4, a Windows screenshot utility, and to any Mouse4 Lifetime License that you purchase. By downloading, using, or purchasing Mouse4, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Mouse4 helps you capture regions of your Windows screen and save or copy those captures. Features, system requirements, and supported Windows versions may change as the product develops.
2. 14-day free trial
Mouse4 includes a 14-day free trial so you can evaluate the application before purchasing. No payment method is required for the trial, and the trial does not automatically convert into a paid plan or charge you. When the trial ends, access to Mouse4 is suspended until you purchase and activate a Lifetime License.
3. Lifetime License
Mouse4 is sold as a one-time digital Lifetime License. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal. A license permits use of the version and features supported by Mouse4 for the life of the product, subject to these Terms and any activation limits shown in the application.
You must keep your license key and purchase information secure. Do not resell, publish, or share a license key except as permitted by us in writing.
4. Payments and delivery
Payments are arranged manually through Wise or PayPal. After we confirm that a payment has been received, we send a license key to the email address provided by the customer. Payment instructions and support are available at johnwish1590@hotmail.com.
Refund requests are handled under our Refund Policy and applicable consumer-protection laws. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory rights available to you in your country.
5. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for using Mouse4 lawfully and for ensuring that your screen captures do not violate another person’s privacy, intellectual-property rights, confidentiality, or other rights. You are also responsible for keeping your Windows device and license credentials reasonably secure.
6. Intellectual property
Mouse4 and its software, design, branding, and documentation are owned by Weixin Zhang or its licensors. These Terms give you a limited right to use Mouse4; they do not transfer ownership of the software to you.
7. Updates and availability
We may release updates, bug fixes, or security improvements and may discontinue features or the product in the future. We will not remove any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you. The service may be unavailable temporarily for maintenance, technical issues, or events outside our reasonable control.
8. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mouse4 is provided without promises that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not responsible for loss of data caused by your device, operating system, storage settings, or use of screen captures. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the seller’s place of residence in China, without limiting any mandatory consumer-protection rights in the country where you live.
